Procedure:
In a large pan, add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, when it’s hot add spice sausage crumbled.
When it becomes brown on each side, remove the sausage. Now add in the pan the sliced onion and make it caramelize, if necessary you can add more extra virgin olive oil. When the onion is golden, add salt and black pepper. Now add the sliced bell peppers and sauté all together.
Now add the garlic and white wine reduce for a few moments, and again the sausage, the diced tomatoes and their juice. Combine for a few minutes and when ready turn the heat off.
Boil the pasta and drain it, add pasta in the pan with the sauce and drizzle extra virgin olive oil, mix well. If necessary, add salt and pepper. Your Italian drunken pasta with sausage and bell peppers is ready! To pair with white wine as Vernaccia di San Gimignano.
