In San Gimignano, in "Tenuta Torciano" winecellar , the Giachi Family, since 15 years, teaches how to taste the wine with a real wine tasting school method:

In our Farm we organize PERSONALIZED WINE TASTINGS following a personal and solid format and in about one hour our guests have the chance to learn many important things about the wine history, the COMBINATIONS WINE/F0OD, the SENSEof the mouth and of the nose, the TECHNIQUES OF THE TASTE, and the GALATEO OF THE GLASS.
Besides all the important sides as the visual, the tasting and the smelling techniques that will be really helpful to our guests whenever they will be in a restaurant to choose the best combination wine/food.
At the end of the wine tasting we will give to all our guests a participation certification.
After 15 years of experience we understood that our guests, coming both privately and with tour agencies, are on holiday, relaxed, with not so much time and most of all with many different budgets... that's why the Tenuta Torciano and the Winetasting School by Pierluigi Giachi is really well organized to welcome everybody with personalized solutions to satisfy any request.
