Wine Description:

The Chardonnay “Dolce Vita” vintage 2022 of the Tenuta Torciano Winery is made with 100% Chardonnay grapes. The aromatic profile of this wine says much about the vintage's weather. An expansive nose denotes perfectly ripened Chardonnay grapes thanks to the sun and light. It is a straw yellow wine with light golden reflections.

The nose opens with notes of lime, green apple and pear, well blended with tropical fruits. On the palate it is delicate and fresh, with an accentuated mineral note, with a medium-long finish. Overall, it is a very balanced, savory, elegant and refined wine. Perfect to accompany fresh and medium-aged cheeses, it is ideal in combination with shellfish, seafood and fish dishes. Also excellent for roast chicken and white meat.

Area of Production:

Tuscany is undoubtedly one of the Italian regions of greatest international resonance for red wines. However, the vocation of the terroir, the richness of the biodiversity of the native vines and the extraordinary savoir-faire of the producers allow Tuscan white wines to express themselves with great identity.

Tuscan white wines have an intrinsic Mediterranean character, which translates into a great richness on the palate and flavor, which compensates for their moderate acidity and aromaticity.

The production area is characterised by a Mediterranean climate with rather dry summers, not particularly harsh winters and rainfall concentrated in two periods: April/May and November, with temperatures varying from -5°C to +37°C. The area benefits from good ventilation all year round and only rarely is it cloaked in fog.
