Produced exclusively with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. From the outset, this is one powerful, deeply expressive Cabernet Sauvignon with heady black currant, plum, and cedar aromas leading into a big, juicy entry.

Layered currant and black cherry flavors are accented by elegant clove notes. Bold, coating tannins frame the entire wine, and hints of wet slate add dimension to dark, brooding finish.

Ideal with grilled meat, structured first courses such as pappardelle with mushrooms or pasta with white meats ragù and medium-aged cheeses.

World-renowned and well-travelled, cabernet sauvignon makes some of the world's finest red wines, working either on its own, or blended with other varieties. Cabernet Sauvignon wines always seem to demonstrate a handful of common character traits: deep color, good tannin structure, moderate acidity and aromas of blackcurrant, tomato leaf, dark spices and cedarwood. The cabernet sauvignon grape is a hybrid grape, originally formed by the crossing of cabernet franc (a red grape) and sauvignon blanc (a white grape). Cabernet sauvignon wines come in single-varietals (made of 100% cabernet sauvignon grapes) and blends.
