The 2011 Brunello di Montalcino is a 100% Sangiovese Grosso wine called in Montalcino: Brunello; that was picked on the gravelly soils as early as 20 September until 15 October, in the vineyards of Montalcino.
It has a show-stopping bouquet that is beautifully defined and very complex, intense, rich and with an elegant flavor of violet with wild wood fruits. It is a wine of strong personality, with a dry, full, smooth and well-balanced taste.
This is a Brunello with no hair out of place with flavor.
Vinification: Fermentation and post-fermentation fermentation in steel tanks of 25 days.
Fermentation takes place naturally, taking advantage of the indigenous yeasts present in the grapes.
The fermentation temperature is maintained between 28 and 30 ° C
Aging: Finished malolactic fermentation in steel follows the aging of wood for 3 years in Slavonia oak barrels of 30, 40 and 60 HL and subsequent aging in bottle for at least 4 months.
