Wine Description:

Terrestre is the champion of our Super Tuscans. Our award winning wine is globally revered and has been celebrated at Vinitaly in Verona. This red blend has a musky smell with sweet notes of dried leaves, characteristic of the Tuscan woods, and a scent of vanilla is derived from the aging process.

Recommend with the pasta with a sauce made from red meat or in conjunction with roast meat. In the month of Sept, in Tuscany, at the beginning of the month have occurred of thunderstorms, creating discomfort during the step of harvesting the grapes but helping to make an overall great wine

Located in central Italy along the Tyrrhenian coast, Tuscany is home to some of the world's most notable wine regions. Toscana IGT is the most famous – and the most commonly used – of Italy's Indicazione Geografica Tipica (IGT) titles. The geographical region it indicates is, in short, Tuscany.

Toscana IGT wines can be made in any village in any of Tuscany's 10 provinces.

Grapes:

This wine is produced with a blend of 5 different grapes, all cultivated in Tuscany. But what about “Super Tuscans”? In the 1970s, Tuscan wine producers began to experiment with foreign grape varietals, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. By combining these with the Sangiovese grape, they created Super Tuscan wines, an unofficial category of Tuscan wines that is not recognized within the Italian wine classification system.
