Technical Details

  • Designation: Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2021 “Godenzio”
  • Grapes: Minimum 80% Sangiovese, up to 20% Canaiolo (Tuscan red varieties)
  • Aging: Minimum 24 months in oak barrels and 12 months in bottle
  • Release: Only after full maturation period
  • Harvest: Hand-picked grapes
  • Origin: Tuscany — vineyards within the Chianti Classico area
  • Vineyards: Hilly terrain with polychrome schist soils at ~400 m a.s.l.

Made primarily from Sangiovese grapes, this wine showcases a vibrant ruby-red color with aromas of ripe red cherries, blackberries, and dried violets, followed by hints of tobacco and sweet spices from oak barrel aging.

Structured and harmonious on the palate, with fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is long and persistent, with balsamic and earthy notes that reflect the richness of the Tuscan terroir.
