Availability and Booking Confirmation

All experiences, packages, dates, times, locations and additional services are subject to availability.

A booking is considered confirmed only after availability has been verified, full payment has been received and the customer has received an official booking confirmation from Tenuta Torciano.

Requests to change the booking date, time, number of participants, selected package or other reservation details are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received less than 20 calendar days before the scheduled start date, as well as no-shows, are non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Requests to reschedule an experience are subject to availability and do not automatically entitle the customer to a refund or booking modification.

Languages

Experiences are normally provided in Italian or English.

Languages other than Italian and English may be available upon request but are subject to staff availability and cannot be guaranteed, even when personnel speaking the requested language may be present at the estate.

Weather Conditions and Location Changes

In the event of adverse weather conditions, excessively high or low temperatures, safety concerns or other operational requirements, Tenuta Torciano reserves the right to move the experience to another suitable indoor or outdoor location, depending on availability.

Such a change does not alter the essential content of the booked experience.

If the customer chooses not to accept the alternative location offered, Tenuta Torciano cannot be held responsible for the customer’s resulting non-participation.

Booking Restrictions

The booking or requested use of a voucher or gift certificate on a specific date is subject to the following restrictions:

• Availability of the property and its services.
• Compliance with any applicable minimum advance-booking requirements.
• Booking restrictions, limited availability or closed dates during special events, holidays and high-season periods.

A gift certificate may be replaced or exchanged for another package, experience or service available at our hotel or winery, subject to availability and any applicable price difference.

Voucher Terms and Conditions

1. The use of vouchers to purchase experiences, meals or services is subject to availability. Supplements may apply during restricted periods, including holidays, high-season dates and special events.
2. Each voucher may be used for one transaction only. No cash balance or change will be provided.
3. Vouchers cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.
4. The voucher must be presented upon arrival at the property, either in printed or accepted digital format.
5. The purchase price of the voucher includes applicable VAT.
6. Vouchers are personal, non-transferable and may not be resold, exchanged or commercially traded.
7. Lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed vouchers will not be replaced or refunded, and no cash compensation will be provided.
8. If a booking made using a gift certificate is confirmed and the customer fails to attend or use the booked service, the certificate will be considered redeemed and may no longer be used.

Order Requirements

To be considered valid, every product order must:

• Be paid in full.
• Be accompanied by valid proof of payment when requested.
• Include complete and accurate billing, shipping and contact information.

Free Shipping and Promotional Codes

Free shipping may be applied to eligible orders whose total, after discounts, exceeds €40, subject to the destination, products purchased and conditions displayed on the website.

Promotional codes and discount codes may only be used on orders for which the website allows them to be applied.

Discount codes, promotional codes, gift vouchers and gift cards cannot be combined with one another, with special offers or with free-shipping promotions unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Where a minimum order threshold applies, the threshold must be reached after all eligible discounts have been applied.

Order Processing

Orders are processed through authorized and legally licensed distribution and shipping channels.

Products may be managed, fulfilled and invoiced by an authorized retailer, agent or logistics partner operating from one of our warehouses.

The buyer is solely responsible for ensuring that the purchase, possession and delivery of alcoholic beverages are permitted under the laws applicable in the destination country, State or region.

By placing an order, the customer authorizes the relevant retailer or distribution partner to arrange shipment through a common carrier on the customer’s behalf.

Payments and Currency

Unless otherwise indicated during checkout, orders are prepaid and processed in euros.

The customer’s bank, credit card company or payment provider may apply a currency conversion rate, commission or additional fee that differs from the amount displayed at checkout.

Tenuta Torciano has no control over conversion rates or fees applied by banks, card issuers or external payment providers.

Order Cancellations and Refunds

Product orders are processed immediately after payment has been successfully confirmed.

For this reason, product sales are final and requests to cancel, modify or postpone an order cannot normally be accepted.

Orders are non-refundable, including when the recipient refuses delivery, except where a refund, cancellation or withdrawal right is required by applicable law.

Once order processing has started, requests for delayed shipment or delivery on a later date cannot be accepted.

Nature of the Product

The wine offered for sale is an old vintage and may display characteristics and qualities associated with its age.

Bottles, labels, capsules, corks and packaging may show natural signs of aging, wear, discoloration or deterioration.

Products Sold “As Is”

Old wine vintages are sold on an “as is” basis, without any express or implied guarantee regarding their sensory characteristics.

The buyer acknowledges that the wine’s taste, aroma, color, appearance and overall condition may have naturally evolved over time and that these changes may be beyond the seller’s control.

No Guarantee

The buyer understands and accepts that variations in taste, aroma, color and quality may occur due to the age, storage history and individual condition of each bottle.

No Refund or Compensation

All sales of old wine vintages are final. No refund, reimbursement or compensation will be provided, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

By completing the purchase, the buyer acknowledges and accepts the inherent risks associated with purchasing and consuming aged wine and understands that its condition and taste cannot be guaranteed.

Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times vary according to the destination and are normally estimated as follows:

• Italy: approximately one to three weeks.
• International destinations: up to six weeks.

Severe weather, customs inspections, courier delays, import procedures or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may extend delivery times.

In exceptional cases, delivery may take up to a maximum of 14 weeks.

All delivery dates and timeframes are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

Delivery Costs

The order summary displayed during checkout will indicate the price of the selected products, applicable taxes, discounts, shipping charges and any additional handling costs.

Free shipping will be applied only when the order meets all eligibility conditions and minimum thresholds displayed on the website.

Local taxes, customs duties, import charges, brokerage fees or other costs imposed by the destination country are not included unless explicitly stated during checkout.

International Shipments

For shipments to Canada, Australia and other destinations outside the European Union or the United States, the shipping fee displayed at checkout may not include brokerage fees, customs duties, import taxes or other local charges payable upon delivery.

These additional charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Tenuta Torciano, Tenute Giachi Srl and their logistics partners do not determine, collect or reimburse charges imposed by customs authorities, couriers or local governments.

United States Shipping Policy

Customers must be at least 21 years old to purchase or receive wine in the United States.

By placing an order, the customer confirms that they meet all applicable legal drinking-age requirements.

An adult aged 21 or older must be available during normal delivery hours to sign for the package and may be required to present valid identification.

When no adult is normally available at the residential address, delivery to a business address or an authorized carrier location is recommended.

Shipping is void where prohibited by law.

Vintage Substitutions

In rare cases, a selected wine vintage may become unavailable or be replaced by a newer release after the order has been placed.

To avoid unnecessary delays, Tenuta Torciano may automatically substitute the unavailable bottle with a comparable vintage of the same wine, type or grape variety and of equal or higher quality.

When a suitable substitution cannot be made, the customer may be contacted before the affected item is processed.

Extreme Weather

Excessive heat, freezing temperatures and other extreme weather conditions may affect the safe transportation and quality of wine.

When weather conditions may compromise a shipment, Tenuta Torciano may recommend or apply an appropriate weather-safe shipping solution, including:

• Expedited delivery to a business address or authorized carrier location.
• Holding the order until weather conditions are suitable for safe transportation.

When an order is held due to weather conditions, it will be released as soon as transportation is considered reasonably safe.

Tracking information will be sent once the shipment has been dispatched.

Missing, Incorrect or Damaged Products

Claims relating to missing, incorrect or visibly damaged products must be submitted within two business days of delivery.

Customers should retain the affected products, original packaging, shipping label and photographic evidence until the claim has been reviewed.

Personal Items and Data

Tenuta Torciano and its partners are not responsible for personal items, information or data left inside returned merchandise or packaging.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tenuta Torciano, Tenute Giachi Srl and their partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the sale, purchase, shipment, consumption or use of any product or service.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, the maximum liability shall be limited to the monetary value paid for the affected product or service, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
