THE 2025 OLIVE HARVEST:

"This year brings renewed optimism to the olive oil sector," says Pierluigi Giachi. The 2025 olive harvest in Tuscany shows promising prospects following favorable weather conditions. After a mild winter and spring with beneficial rainfall, the olive trees are in excellent condition for the upcoming harvest season.

"The current conditions are ideal for producing exceptional oil," Giachi notes. "Central Tuscany has experienced optimal temperatures during crucial development phases, with cool nights and moderate daytime warmth that allow the olives to develop rich flavor profiles and high polyphenol content."

The 2025 harvest is expected to yield not only good quantities but also outstanding quality. Industry experts predict that central regions like Tuscany will deliver some of the best results this year, with olives harvesting beginning in late September and continuing through November, maintaining the region’s tradition of producing world-class extra virgin olive oil.
