Wine Description:
Bacco "Dolce Vita" Morellino di Scansano from Tenuta Torciano is born in vineyards located between the hills and the sea, in the splendid landscape of the Tuscan Maremma. It is mainly produced with Sangiovese grapes, harvested between the second half of September and the first week of October.
Bacco presents itself in a brilliant ruby red with slight purplish reflections. On the nose, it begins with intense fruity notes of cherry and raspberry. On the palate, it is vivid and fresh, with a tannic texture typical of the finest "morellino". On the palate, the finish is persistent, full, mellow, and balanced. Morellino is a full-bodied, not tannic to the nth degree, but with structure: so let’s choose red meats, T-bone steak, ribollita, lamb kebabs, gnocchi with Bolognese sauce, hamburgers, baked lasagna, truffle risotto, pasta amatriciana, brisket, pulled pork.
