- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons quark (or soft cheese such as mozzarella or mild gorgonzola)
- 1 slice ham (prosciutto)
- Radish slices, to garnish
- 1 garlic clove (optional, for rubbing the bread)
Instructions
Prepare the Bread
Toast the slice of rustic bread until warm and crispy.
If desired, rub the surface with a garlic clove for extra flavor.
Prepare the Topping
In a small frying pan, gently heat the sour cream.
Add the sliced artichoke, quark (or alternative cheese), and sausage.
Cook over moderate heat until the cheese melts and the mixture becomes creamy.
Assemble
Pour the warm mixture over the toasted bread.
Top with a slice of ham.
Garnish and Serve
Decorate with fresh radish slices for a slightly spicy crunch.
