Ingredients
For the Cake
- ¼ cup (60 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 ½ cups (300 g) sugar
- 1 cup (200 g) butter
- ½ cup (150 ml) red wine
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup (150 g) flour 00
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- ¼ cup (50 g) dark chocolate, chopped

Instructions
Prepare the Base
In a saucepan, combine the cocoa powder, butter, sugar, red wine, and a pinch of salt. Cook over low heat, stirring until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. Transfer the mixture into a large bowl.
Add the Eggs
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until fully incorporated.
Prepare the Batter
Add the flour, baking powder, and chopped dark chocolate. Mix until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous batter.
Bake
Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for about 30 minutes.
Cool and Serve
Remove from the oven and let the cake cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
