Ingredients
- 2 beef or veal slices
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup (30 g) butter
- 2 ½ cups (500 g) porcini mushrooms
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 glass red wine
- Flour, as needed
- Fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Mushrooms
Clean the mushrooms by removing the earthy part. If necessary, rinse them quickly under water, then dry immediately.
Slice the porcini mushrooms thinly.
Heat butter and olive oil in a pan with a halved garlic clove.
Add the mushrooms and sauté over high heat for a few minutes, stirring gently.
Prepare the Meat
Trim the beef or veal slices and remove any tough parts.
Cut the meat into thin strips.
Lightly coat them in flour and shake off the excess.
Cook the Dish
Add the meat to the pan with the mushrooms.
Pour in the red wine and cook over medium-low heat for about 10–15 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Finish and Serve
Turn off the heat and add freshly chopped parsley.
Serve hot.
