Ingredients
- 1 savoy cabbage
- Sliced ham
- Mozzarella cheese (cubed)
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Breadcrumbs
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Method
Prepare the cabbage
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Blanch the savoy cabbage leaves for about 10 seconds, then drain.
Remove the thick central rib from each leaf.
Fill and roll
Place a slice of ham and some mozzarella cubes on each leaf.
Roll the leaves tightly to form small rolls.
Assembly
Arrange the rolls in a lightly oiled baking dish.
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.
Baking
Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for about 25 minutes.
Serving
Serve warm as a comforting and flavorful dish.
