Wine Description:

Spumante Doc dry, fresh and light. Excellent on the palate with its fruity bouquet and aromatic, it also fascinates the view with its fine and persistent perlage. Perfect as an aperitif, goes very well also at the table with delicate and simple dishes.

The grapes that go to this Prosecco enjoy an ideal habitat in the land covered with clay with a subsoil of sandstone. This type of soil is particularly beneficial for grapes, avoiding unnecessary stress from clutter in critical times, while enriching grapes with noble acids, varietal and fruity aromas. Fresh and bright sparkling wine with lemons and sliced green apples. Medium body and a lovely beaded texture from the bubbles. Creamy. Fresh finish.

Area of Production:

Veneto is a substantial and increasingly important wine region in the northeastern corner of Italy.

Veneto is armed with a formidable portfolio of red wines to go with its refreshing whites, such as Soave and sparkling Prosecco. The common factor that unites almost all viticultural zones in northeastern Veneto is the Glera grape (typically known as Prosecco), and the foaming spumante and semi-sparkling frizzante wines it creates.

Grapes:

Glera is a synonym of northern Italy's Prosecco grape, and the name by which it is now officially known. This green-skinned variety has been grown for hundreds of years in the Veneto and Friuli regions, most famously to produce sparkling Prosecco wines. It has high acidity and a fairly neutral palate, making it ideal for sparkling wine production. Glera’s aromatic profile is characterized by white peaches, with an occasional soapy note.
