Wine Description:

This typical wine has a fresh, fruity and vigorous flavour. Its fine and persistent perlage makes it the ideal aperitif to accompany sweet or savoury appetizers and to feature in the typical Italian lemon sorbet recipe This wine has an intense fruity bouquet with a hint of golden apples. It is very dry, fresh, light in body and well-balanced. This wine is perfect alone as an aperitif or as a delightful complement to appetizers such as prosciutto or mild cheeses. Excellent as wine cocktails.

This green-skinned variety has been grown for hundreds of years in the Veneto and Friuli regions, most famously to produce sparkling Prosecco wines. It has high acidity and a fairly neutral palate, making it ideal for sparkling wine production. Glera’s aromatic profile is characterized by white peaches, with an occasional soapy note.
