Details:

Vernaccia di San Gimignano Poggioaicieli 2024

The prime quality of this wine demand fish dishes, prized shellfish, steamed, baked or grilled fish, tasty seafood hors d'oevres, fish soup and shellfish risotto. Also excellent with crépes, soufflèes and white meat. The quality of this vintage is good, the quantity excellent, with a 25% increase in production compared to the previous year thanks to a favorable climatic trend. Straw yellow color tending to golden with age. Fine, penetrating, fresh, fruity bouquet and a delicate, fruity flavour with a characteristic bitterish aftertaste.

Rosè Still Wine

The Tuscan red grapes are vinified in rosè by soft pressing to obtain this rosé wine. The nose is characterized by fresh fruity and floral aromas reminiscent of pink grapefruit, strawberry and dog rose. On the palate it is balanced, soft and fragrant. When tasted, it conquers with its fruity character, enlivened by flavor and freshness that invite you to taste it again and make it particularly pleasant to sip. Very fresh and flowing, it proves to be full-bodied and persistent. The long finish highlights fruity and mineral notes. This rosé is perfect as an aperitif but also goes well with cold cuts and croutons appetizers, lightly seasoned first courses and risottos, soups, white meats and all fish-based dishes.

Pinot Grigio "Vittoria Peacock" DOC 2024

A white wine with delicate coppery highlights and a fragrant aroma of toasted almonds and yeast. A cuvee of the best Pinots, its body and structure are enhanced when accompanied by fish main courses, as well as hors d’oeuvres and light first courses.Pinot Grigio is the Italian name for Pinot Gris, a white mutation of the Pinot family. It shares its genetic fingerprint with Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and several other varieties. The wines are most commonly described as dry white wines with relatively high acidity. These characteristics are complemented by aromas of lemon, lime, green apple and blossoms. Early harvests can also have a clear impact on color. As Pinot Gris/Grigio ripens it can take on a pinkish color. Wines made from riper grapes can be much more golden.
