Bruschetta Toscana

Bruschetta is a simple, genuine and inviting dish especially for the spring and summer that are coming. Possible ways to fill a bruschetta are listed below.



  • For Caprese bruschetta:
  • 4 slices of wheat bread
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 8 basil leaves
  • 250 grams of mozzarella
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • 12 black olives
  • oregano
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • salt
  • For Sausage Bruschetta:
  • 2 slices of wheat bread
  • 2 sausages
  • Tomatoe and Basil Bruschetta:
  • 2 slices of wheat bread
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 2 basil leaves
  • garlic (at choice)
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • Difficulty: simple
  • Time: 30 min.  


Procedure for caprese bruschetta:

Here we are with a classic summer bruschetta. As the ingredients of bruschetta are not cooked, it is particularly important that the slice of bread is well hot. First cut from a loaf of wheat 4 thick slices about 2 inches by 80-100 grams each. We provide to broil on the grill of the oven. Cut cubed mozzarella and tomatoes, which we combine with olives, oregano, chopped Basil and oil. Add salt and mix well. Then we take the slices and strofiniamo one clove of garlic, before lay on each slice the mixture prepared. Finally we put a drop of extra virgin olive oil on each bruschetta


Procedure for sausage bruschetta

Although it cannot be considered a Summer Bruschetta, Bruschetta with sausage is a classic of Tuscan tradition.  Cut the bread slices with about half a centimetre thick. Peel the sausages and spread them on bread slices. Put in hot oven and set the grill function. Keep it in the oven until the sausage is browned.


Procedure for tomato and basil bruschetta

A summer bruschetta based on fresh and genuine flavours such as Mediterranean tomato and olive oil, all enveloped by the heady scent of the Basil. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into small pieces. Toss with oil, salt and basil. Let flavour. Cut the bread slices with about half a centimetre thick. Brown the onions on the grill or in the oven. Season with pomodiri and serve.
