Wine Description:

Fenix is crafted from a blend of Catarratto, Inzolia and Grillo grapes. This liqueur wine is produced through off-skins fermentation of aged wines, giving it a rich amber-orange hue. The bouquet is intense and expressive, releasing aromatic notes that immediately invite tasting.
On the palate it is smooth and harmonious, making it an ideal choice for the end of a meal. It pairs beautifully with a wide range of sweets, especially Tuscan cantucci, chocolate-filled cookies and creamy pastries.

Wine Cellar:

San Quirico Azienda Agricola in San Gimignano began selling bottled wine in 1974, establishing itself in the best national and international markets.
Thanks to the use of modern technologies such as the pneumatic press, blast chiller, and a careful but moderate use of the finest French oak barrels, we are able to give our wines character and elegance that reflect the San Gimignano terroir and bring satisfaction to our constant work.

Area of Production:

The wine is produced in Tuscany, a region renowned worldwide for its winemaking heritage and diverse landscapes. The combination of rolling hills, Mediterranean climate and long-standing viticultural traditions creates an ideal environment for producing expressive and balanced wines. Tuscany’s warm days and cooling evening breezes enhance aromatic development and contribute to the distinctive character of its wines, including refined and elegant dessert styles.

Grapes:

Catarratto, Grillo and Inzolia are classic white grape varieties often blended in Italian winemaking, particularly suited to both fortified and dessert wine styles.

Catarratto provides structure and balance, offering a neutral base ideal for fortified expressions. Grillo contributes aromatic intensity and higher alcohol potential, bringing freshness and citrus-driven character. Inzolia enhances acidity and finesse, ensuring elegance and longevity in the final blend.

Together, these varieties create a well-rounded dessert wine with depth, aromatic richness and refined sweetness.
