Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2014 - This wine is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, cultivated in hilly areas with good exposure at an altitude of 400m a.s.l. on ground which dates back to the Ecocenico Era. Over the years it has gradually acquired greater fragrance, a more velvety flavour, greater harmony and a delicately intense bouquet. Its color is a deep ruby red, tending to garnet with age. It has a strong personality with a dry, full, smooth, well balanced flavour. Excellent with pasta dishes garnished with sauces made from wild boar and meat, with tasty noble game roasts and poultry as the Fiorentina Steak. Also exceptionally good with mature and spicy cheeses.
Baldassarre "Super Tuscan" IGT Toscana Rosso 2015 - This Wine is a blend of Sangiovese grosso, Cabernet e Merlot. This combination, with the clay-based soil and particular climate, are the ingredients which create a superior red nectar. With a deep ruby red color tending to garnet with age has a round, complete and elegant bouquet. Hints of wood can be perceived amidst the typical herbaceous notes. Its flavour is dry, full and smooth. Cabernet – Merlot – Sangiovese is the composition of many of the so-called "Super Tuscan" wines of central Italy. The blend can be made to any number of variations, but the combination typically draws on the power and structure of Cabernet Sauvignon, the sweet, juicy fruit flavors of Merlot and the rustic, sour-cherry tang of Sangiovese. Sangiovese is the defining grape in the blend and gives the wine a distinctively Italian accent.
The prime quality and structure of this wine demand excellent first courses and risottos with sauces made from wild boar and hare, tasty red meat dishes such as roast game, vegetable soufflé and spicy mature cheeses.
