Wine Description:

Barolo Torciano originates from the prestigious hills of Verduno, one of the most distinctive communes of the Langhe area. The vineyards are rooted in classic clayey-calcareous soils at an altitude of 300–350 meters, offering ideal conditions for the cultivation of Nebbiolo. These factors allow the grapes to develop complex aromatics while maintaining balanced acidity.

Elegant and inviting on the nose, this 100% Nebbiolo Barolo reveals delicate aromas of dried rose, violet, gentle spice, and bright red fruit. The palate is full-bodied and dry, with a refined structure and silky tannins that deliver a smooth, well-balanced mouthfeel. It shows remarkable depth, finesse, and excellent aging potential.

Tenuta Torciano Winery produces this Barolo from carefully selected vineyards located in the heart of Piedmont’s Langhe region, an area internationally renowned for its great Nebbiolo-based wines and centuries-old winemaking traditions.

Crafted with dedication and respect for tradition, this Barolo undergoes a 15-day maceration in stainless steel, followed by maturation for 3 years in French oak. A final period of bottle refinement completes its evolution, ensuring harmony, balance, and long-term aging capability.
