Area of Production:

Located in central Italy along the Tyrrhenian coast, Tuscany is home to some of the world’s most notable wine regions. Toscana IGT is the most famous – and the most commonly used – of Italy’s Indicazione Geografica Tipica (IGT) titles. The geographical region it indicates is, in short, Tuscany. Toscana IGT wines can be made in any village in any of Tuscany’s 10 provinces.

Grapes:

Grapes: 70% selected Sangiovese and 30% between Merlot and Syrah
Winemaking: Late harvest of the best grapes. Grapes are selected and harvested by hand in our own vineyards. Following is the crushing-destemming and temperature-controlled fermentation in cement glass containers. After malolactic fermentation the wine is aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
