Strong brilliant ruby turning to garnet with age, light violet fragrance, mellow and soft-velvet finish. Aged 2 years in barriques, 14% alcohol. Ideal companion for noble poultry, game and mature cheeses; excellent with pasta in a tasty meat sauce, roast meat, finely sliced raw beef and pecorino.
