Torciano "Dolce Vita" Chardonnay is a blend of superlative Tuscan vineyards located in the Montalcino area, an iconic region where wines of worldly fame are nestled in the rolling countryside and protected by the Appenini hills of Tuscany.
The aromatic profile of this wine says much about the vintage's weather. An expansive nose denotes perfectly ripened Chardonnay grapes thanks to the sun and light.
It is a straw yellow wine with light golden reflections. The nose opens with notes of lime, green apple and pear, well blended with tropical fruits. On the palate it is delicate and fresh, with an accentuated mineral note, with a medium-long finish. Overall, it is a very balanced, savory, elegant and refined wine.
It is a wine that allows bold combinations, fatty or very spicy foods such as shellfish, important fish, sushi or salmon. It is excellent when paired with aged and particularly tasty cheeses. It also goes well with grilled white meats and smoked fish carpaccio.
